There is a change in tomorrow’s programming. Appalachian Home Health staff is busy with the regular duties of caring for their patients and a staff member who will be on jury duty this week. After years in health care, I know the frustration of moving visits around to best optimize patient care. My hat is off to the staff at Appalachian for putting patient care first. We will definitely be hearing from them at a later date.
Our guest for tomorrow’s show (Wednesday, August 29th at 4:15) will be Brasstown Manor. Brasstown Manor, a JoyCare Retirement Community is an independent living and personal care home located in Hiawassee, Georgia. If you have never visited this facility, I hope you will soon take the time to do so. The view from the front door is heavenly with a mountain top view. The environment is no less breathtaking as you enter the front reception area.
If you are considering a retirement residence for yourself or a loved one, your search may end with Brasstown Manor.
For information visit their website at www.brasstown-manor.com or call 706-896-4285.

Post Your Resource Service
Looking for Community Resources
If you are a member of the North Georgia community of resource providers feel free to link your business to this blog and by all means feel free to join me on my weekly broadcast to let people know what services you provide. Sample the site by clicking on the player to the right of the screen.
I would like to include in the NGCR Talk Show a book discussion on Ira Byock's Four Things That Matter Most or Dying Well. Dr. Byock had given me permission years ago to record Dying Well. His statement was that not too many people rush to buy a book with that title. He's probably correct, but if you have never read any of Ira Byock's work, you are missing an education in humanitarianism.
I have to think about it, but I believe I will eventually do the Dying Well book discussions.
What do you think?
Would anyone be interested in joining a podcast that talks about Dying Well?
